Abstract: Based on a historical and analytical debate, the researcher seeks to demonstrate the left-wing roots of anarchism, revisiting episodes such as the French Revolution and its Enlightenment influence on libertarian ideology, the historical process of the constitution of the AIT, the different historical waves of anarchism and the revolutionary processes in which it was involved. Drawing on discussions in political science, the researcher demonstrates the political location of anarchism and analyzes the neoliberal influence on the perspective that refusal this position.
